“We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go…”
Hebrews 6:18-19, The Message
Hi friend, I’m so glad you’re here.
This work is the overflow of a decade-long journey following God through tremendous loss and profound joy. It’s also the intersection of things I care deeply about—grief, hope, and stories rooted in God’s good work in the world.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a background in mental health and medical social work. In 2023, I started teaching classes at my local church, preached my first sermon, launched a podcast, and published the first essay in what would become a multi-year project to make remembering a spiritual discipline. In late 2025, I started something I said I’d never do: seminary. Will it take me forever? Maybe. Am I thrilled to be doing it? Yes!
Most importantly, I’m a wife to the boy who grew up across the street and a mother to 3 wild and wonderful kids who keep my calendar and heart very full. When I’m not writing, raising humans or studying, you can find me with an iced coffee, earbuds in and listening to an embarrassingly broad assortment of podcasts.
My prayer is you’ll find something here that stirs your affection and imagination for what it looks like to be a woman following Jesus slowly and for the long haul. There’s nothing quite like it.
